Al-Quds Academy for Scientific Research (QASR) is a non-profit organization registered in 2016 under the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade as a partnership between the Munib R. Masri Development Foundation and Al-Quds University.

The academy was proposed by the Munib R. Masri Development Foundation in response to the perceived need for stimulating applied scientific research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Arab world, particularly Palestine and Jordan.

Believing that development of human capital in Jordan and Palestine and all over the Arab world is considered to be the cornerstone of our future prosperity,  QASR seeks to promote and support innovators,  entrepreneurs and researchers  with all possible financial resources that can help them create new innovations, spin-offs and startups. Not only this,  but QASR seeks to create the proper access to infrastructure, tools and knowledge to foster innovation and  applied scientific research. 

In addition, the academy also aims to build both scientific and technological capabilities through facilitating technology and knowledge transfer while building research and innovation networks between researchers in the region.
